Got a question that isn't really answered anywhere else? Well here's the place to look! We'll store all those little questions that get asked here for reference to all. If you have anything you'd like to add to this list, or a question in general, free from to message a staff member, and we'll get onto it for you!
Q. Are there auditions for the high ranks?
Nope! It's simply whoever makes the character and if staff think they're good to go or not. No auditions needed. Once a character is accepted, the position is filled. That's that!
Q. Can I have more than one high rank?
Yes you can, just be sure not to be unfair to other members and take more than your fair share. Make sure everyone has a chance to fill up those key positions, consider taking ranks from different clans (rather than the same one), taking a medicine cat or their apprentice if you already have a leader or deputy, generally be courteous in how you go about it. Staff will say no if we don't feel everyone is getting a fair chance for them.
Q. How old should an apprentice be to become a warrior?
This should be twelve moons or older, to make sure that everything is consistent. It's only in a few cases that it might be earlier, but always check with staff before going down that route.
Q. Is all the character template required?
Yes it is! By filling out all parts of the template, we get a good idea for the basics of your character at very least. Especially given history can sometimes be the key to understanding why a character acts the way they do. It doesn't need to be a novel, but be sure to give us the key elements of importance if nothing else.
Q. My avatar won't upload the right size!
Don't stress! It's okay! Here we use bigger avatars than usual, which is 200x300px. The default avater uploader for proboards however will automatically resize them to proboards standard, which is the right ratio for 150px. You'll need to go to an outside service, like tinypic or imgur, and upload your image there. Then, copy the direct link of the picture, come back, click on "Uploaded/Linked", and paste the image in the text box for linked, before clicking link image. Make sure you save all your changes!
Q. Do leaders have nine lives? Why and how to they get them?
As per the warriors books, all leaders have nine lives. In character, this will happen when a deputy takes over from the leader for one reason or another. They will need to go to the highstones, and speak to StarClan, who will grant them the nine lives of particular significance, in order to best serve their clan. It is in this ceremony that StarClan will give them their suffix of -star, and the right to lead their clan. These lives are given so that a leader can lead with confidence, and stand for something more within their clan, and live for an extended time to provide stability where the clan needs it most. When the leader dies while still having lives, they are sent on a temporary trip to StarClan, where parts of themselves that were given in the ceremony begin to gather. They will then return to their body and deal with what comes from there.
