Bright blue eyes squinted against the glare of the river, as the white she-cat positioned herself right on the edge of the water. Her pelt was puffed up against the morning chill, the sky clear of a single crowd, and the sun’s bright gaze reflecting off the smooth surface that the river provided. Usually, she didn’t mind being out that early. But it was incredibly hard to do much when the sun was seriously impacting her vision. Bubblestar wrinkled her nose, lifting a paw to scrub at her eyes. She’d left her deputy in the camp to organise the day, and well, venturing out was something she did often.
That case was no different. The intention had been to get some fishing in, but with her vision the way it was so early, that may have to be put on pause. The leader leaned back, putting her paw back down and wrinkled her nose, blinking a few ties. Yep, all she had with a mix of blurry lights, impacting seeing anything around that. The she-cat’s ears flattened against her head briefly, before she shook her head and straightened them again. “What a way to start the morning, come on eyes, work with me here!” She meowed out loud, tapping her front paws a few times against the ground with mild annoyance.
